One should consult a dermatologist for the removal of stretch marks. Invasive procedures like lasers are also recommended by doctors. However they can only be performed after 6 months post delivery. Women who are opting for exclusive breast feeding post 6 months should further delay laser treatment. Application of certain creams and lotions prescribed by the doctors are useful for the treatment of stretch marks. Surgical options such as tummy tuck can also be recommended by the specialists.
There are certain creams which are prescribed by the dermatologists to prevent stretch marks. Antenatal exercises are the best treatment to prevent stretch marks from occurring. If your changing body exercises and goes through the recommended stretch exercises, the marks can be managed. Please consult specialists for the ante natal physiotherapy and yoga sessions.
